We all knew that Ronnie was doing 5 or 6 of the #TPau25 gigs, but news on monday changed all of that!!
Ronnie posted on the FaceBook site :
"I can now confirm that I am playing ALL the shows on the upcoming #TPau25 Tour. It'll be the first time in over twenty years that Carol and I have played a full gig together...See you there.
R x."

After Ron's post on the T'Pau25 Official FaceBook page, the 'likes' and the comments went manic, and also Carol tweeted the news too that same night. The fans were in their element!!
To have the two co-founders and writers of T'Pau at the #TPau25 concerts is simply fantastic!!
The late 80's saw a new music writing partnership, that being Decker/Rogers.
Decker/Rogers was the new writing partnership 'sensation'. They both worked together so well, and to this day, the formula is still there. They have both written with numerous artists, but they both know how each other ticks musically and they are still writing together.
You don't really get that many writing partnerships, that can spring to mind, nowadays do you?
So what better way of celebrating 25 years since TPau 'blasted' onto the music scene, than having Carol and Ronnie on-board!!
A few fans have already asked this, and I'm sure more fans are thinking the same "Will Ronnie be doing a rendition of Downtown?!"
When Carol left stage for costume changes, back in the day, Ron would introduce the band to the audience and then sing a cover, including 'Walk away Rene', 'Downtown' & 'I'm a Believer'.

Here is a song they both worked together on in 2007, which was 20 years since T'Pau formed. Carol said at the time "It's about that feeling when you are just falling asleep and just waking up".

They recently worked together on 'The Story Behind The Tracks' CD/DVD package, which is available to but on-line now and will be available at the #TPau25 gigs to buy in person.
If you haven't seen Carol and the band live before, you can also buy from the above website 'The Greatest Hits Live'. This was released in 2003 and demonstrates how diverse Carol and the band are, and also how great they are live!!
